Who We Are

The Poor People's Campaign

Picture
Last month, the Revolutionary Love movement helped launch the Poor People's Campaign — see below. Every week since then, thousands of folks showed up and risked arrest in state capitals from coast to coast. More than 2,000 people have been arrested so far. The result?

The largest wave of nonviolent civil disobedience in U.S. history. This is what a groundswell rooted in Revolutionary Love looks like. We are culminating the campaign with a massive rally on the National Mall on Saturday, June 23rd, 2018. People are ride-sharing, buying train tickets, and getting on free buses organized by activist groups across the country to pack the National Mall:
Here are the details:
  • Date: Saturday, June 23, 2018.
  • Time: 10am
  • Location: National Mall by Jefferson Drive SW and 7th st. SW, Washington, D.C.
Bring your #RevolutionaryLove signs. Together, we will embody the ethic to birth a new future...
